Thai hospitality group Minor International is planning to introduce a new four-star hotel brand this year as part of a global expansion strategy.

Hotel developer, Minor International, will complete the transfer of the riverside Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa from Marriott management to its own in-house brand Anantara by 11 November.

Minor International foresees a bright future for the overseas expansion of its hotel and food business, with new contracts that will significantly raise the number of hotel rooms and food outlets under its management.
