Toyota announced domestic car sales for August 2009 of 43,251 units, down 8.2% YoY, accounted for passenger car sales 17,790 units, declined by 1.1% YoY, 1-tonne pickup sales of 21,778 units down 12% YoY, commercial vehicle car sales decreased the most in every segment with 12.6% YoY with 25,461 units.
