Under the “LHBANK” symbol, its market capitalisation now is Bt15.92 billion. The holding company now owns 99.99 per cent in Land and Houses Retail Bank, which operated 30 branches as of end-2010.
“LHBANK’s listing will increase the exchange’s market capitalisation and overall attraction. The banking sector is now a major attraction. In the first quarter, transaction value of the sector increased the most, to 21.63 per cent of the market’s total turnover from 14.73 per cent in the previous quarter,” said SET Group Head Issuer & Listing Chanitr Charnchainarong.
