At the seminar on “Time for Thai companies’ overseas expansion”, he said the invitation is extended due to Thai listed companies’ improved good governance and well as Thailand’s macroeconomic outlook.
Thanks to a series of measures launched by the SEC and related parties, the Asian Corporate Governance Association Lifted Thailand’s good governance from the 8th place in 2009 to the 4th in 2010 .
“This was the biggest jump among 11 Asian markets,” he said.
“This also raises confidence in Thai companies among international investors,” he added.
